We’ve really enjoyed opening our home to guests and have received some comments which we would like to share.

WOW—those were the best pancakes I ever had!
Rahel M., a guest of Ohev Shalom nearby in Wallingford
I felt like I was on vacation instead of working!
Rowena Y., Houston, TX
What a wonderful place! You both went above & beyond. It’s a great feeling for a mom to feel so nurtured. Thanks
I hope my son gets into Swarthmore so I can have an excuse to return.

You have a gift and talent for being genuinely warm & friendly while allowing guests to have the space & privacy
they desire. All of your special touches (filtered water, homemade cookies & delicious breakfasts) were warmly
It was the best B&B I think we ever stayed in.
Jim H., a guest of the Swarthmore College Biology Department
Thanks for being wonderful hosts. I enjoyed my stay and only wish it had been a vacation instead of business,
so I could have spent more time here.

I love this place! The house is beautiful but also comfortable, historic—indeed, Victorian—but not fussy, dark
and cluttery, and there is every convenience a person like me could want—thoughtful, ample lighting for both
chair & bed reading, an available computer ready to go, bedtime cookies, fascinating antiques (but again,
situated to maintain an overall bright and airy feeling), excellent coffee and healthy breakfasts, thoroughly
comfortable beds & bedding, oh—and gorgeous huge windows framing splendid old trees.
Now I have to strive for neutrality as my daughter weighs pros and cons of Swarthmore (which presently
she loves) and other schools—but neutrality is a little trickier when I want so much to stay here again & to
bring my husband and younger daughter to stay here too!
