Well furnished with an antique oak high back bed, extended to queen size, and a hand-made country dresser.

 

There’s a lovely, thick Persian carpet on the floor, a bookcase full of books and four huge windows overlooking the side patio and yard as well as the west-facing front of our house.

The well-stuffed loveseat is actually a twin-size futon sleeper that can accommodate an extra guest. The inner spring mattress is very comfortable.  Please let us know in advance if you would like to have the futon made up.

Private Bath

A spacious bathroom, just outside the door to the Purcell room, is for the exclusive use of guests occupying that room.

And if you’ve had a long, exhausting day – perhaps walking the college campus – relax in the whirlpool tub. Yes, there’s a shower too.
